The package manager for Kubernetes

helm은 kubernetes application을 관리할 때 쓰면 좋습니다.

예를 들면 elastic stack을 띄울 경우

  1. elastic search node 끼리의 service discovery 필요.
  2. elastic search node에 persistent volume attach
  3. fluentd, elastic search, kibana 사이의 service discovery
  4. 각 서비스 conf file 관리

등등등 만들어 주어야 하는 yaml 파일도 많고 각각 공유해야 하는 정보들도 있어서 yaml파일 만으로는
관리가 어려운 부분이 있습니다.

helm 을 이용하면 아래와 같이 한줄의 명령어로 쉽게 설치가 가능합니다.

$ helm install --name my-release stable/elastic-stack
